Pro Tips & Shortcuts
SAT Tip: Always check if the question asks for perimeter or area - they are very different!
SAT Tip: The height must be perpendicular to the base - not just any side length!
SAT Tip: Radius vs diameter is a common trap. Always check which one is given!
SAT Tip: Volume is always in cubic units. Area is square units, perimeter is linear units.
SAT Tip: Leave answer in terms of π unless asked to approximate.
For rectangles, remember length × width for area, add all sides for perimeter.
Think: triangle area is half of a rectangle with same base and height.
If diameter is given, divide by 2 to get radius before using formulas.
For any prism: V = (base area) × height
Cylinder = circle base × height. So V = (πr²) × h
